What is your function/role at RWE?

"I've been working at RWE for 12 years now, 10 years int he offshore industry. I came across Rødsand 2 quite often but never had the chance to get a closer look. Now, in my new role as General Manager for Rødsand 2, it is part of my job to handle the delivery of the technical and commercial performance of the windfarm. I am responsible for a team of 25 people.“

At which location do you work and what do you value about RWE as an employer?

"As I live in Hamburg with my family, I will be commuting regularly between two offices – the one in Hamburg and the other one in Rødbyhavn where the service station is located. It is important for me to work in a company that is truly diverse and that supports people with talent and potential. RWE is such a company and it's great to watch its diversity continue to grow. I hope that one day we get to see even more women in leading positions.“

What are you looking forward to in your new position?

"The great team, of course. That is what I'm really looking forward to. It's a great mix of people: young professionals and colleagues with many years of experience. And the Danish working culture in general I didn't get to know yet. Thanks to the team, Rødsand 2 is special and the driver of innovation it has already been for ten years. The park has always set new standards and is a source of inspiration for other windfarms. That makes it a really interesting new position to work in.“

Among other things, Denmark is famous for its soft ice cream and hot dogs. What's your favourite?

"Well, no question, I like both. But I have to admit I have a sweet tooth and love Danish pastries. I am sure that my team that is completely Danish will lead me to the best food spots nearby the service station when I am around. This is also a great opportunity to try to practice some Danish.“
