RWE Renouvelables France est l’un des principaux développeurs de projets d’énergies renouvelables en France.
Fort d’une équipe de plus de 250 collaborateurs, nous conçevons des projets de parcs éoliens et solaires en partenariat avec les élus, les riverains, les associations locales et les administrations.
Du lancement du projet jusqu’à son démantèlement ou le renouvellement de son installation, nous portons une attention particulière à la qualité de nos réalisations.

Aujourd'hui, l'équipe Commercial Analysis recrute un analyse commercial H/F, avec au moins 3 ans d'expérience. Le poste est focalisé sur les marchés de l'électricité en France et plus particulièrment sur les technologies renouvelables. Le service d'analyse des actifs commerciaux et d'analyse de portefeuille fournit des informations commerciales détaillées, des analyses de marché et un soutien analytique aux activités de RWE pour toutes les énergies renouvelables, conventionnelles et de stockage. 

Le poste requiert une grande affinité pour le travail numérique ainsi que pour le traitement de grandes quantités de données. Vous ferez partie d'une équipe très dynamique, internationale et dont les membres sont répartis à travers l'Europe du sud. L'équipe d'analyse commerciale encourage la coopération entre les départements afin de garantir à nos employés l'accès à l'ensemble des activités qu'un acteur mondial comme RWE peut offrir.

Le poste

• Fournir un soutien commercial complet pour différents types de processus décisionnels (approbation des investissements, fixation du prix de l'offre, projets de fusion et d'acquisition, etc.
• Soutenir les stratégies d'appel d'offres dans le cadre de diverses ventes aux enchères (par exemple les ventes aux enchères de la CRE) et diriger l'analyse des activités commerciales
• Soutenir l'équipe d'origination dans les discussions commerciales et recommander les stratégies de mise sur le marché les plus appropriées
• Diriger la collecte, la préparation et l'analyse de toutes les données commerciales pertinentes pour les modèles économiques des énergies renouvelables en France
• Soutenir l'équipe Stratégie et Affaires réglementaires pour refléter les scénarios actuels et futurs du marché et de la réglementation pour la planification stratégique
• Soutenir les analyses de marché à l'échelle européenne et l'évaluation commerciale des nouvelles solutions technologiques telles que le stockage des batteries
• Rédiger des rapports d'analyse de marché (par exemple en cas d'événements importants sur le marché)

Votre profil

• Diplôme dans une discipline analytique ou numérique, de préférence en ingénierie, en finance, en statistiques ou en mathématiques, et expérience professionnelle appropriée, notamment en matière d'analyse de marché
• Expérience de plus de trois ans dans le secteur de l'énergie, notamment dans la commercialisation des énergies renouvelables et/ou en tant qu'analyste du marché de l'électricité ou similaire
• Une bonne compréhension des fondamentaux du marché en France : prix de gros capturés, coûts de déséquilibre, marchés de capacité, etc.
• Une forte connaissance d'Excel, c'est-à-dire que vous devez être capable d'utiliser les fonctionnalités à un niveau expert. La mise en œuvre de modèles numériques ou de routines de traitement de données, par exemple en python, est un plus mais n'est pas exigée
• Vous parlez couramment le français et l'anglais

• Expérience confirmée en matière de gestion de projet 
• Des compétences en VBA, R, Python, ou gestion de base de données
• Toute autre langue européenne

The Commercial Asset and Portfolio Analysis department provides detailed commercial insights, market analysis and analytical support to RWEs business for all renewable, conventional and storage technologies across the globe. Our objective is to support the acceleration to Net Zero by steering the business towards markets, technologies and monetization concepts with highest commercial value. Based on that, the team ensures full optimization and maximization of the revenue streams of our assets and improves the competitiveness of RWE.  
The scope of this role is on the electricity markets in France focusing on renewable technologies and includes commercial project valuations, strategic/regulatory analyses and renewables auction support for different RES technologies (e.g. Offshore, Onshore, PV, battery storages). 
The position requires a high affinity for numerical work as well as handling large amounts of data. You will be part of a highly dynamic, international and geographically diverse team which comes along with occasional international travel, working remotely and demonstrating a pro-active and autonomous approach to work. The Commercial Analysis team explicitly promotes intra and inter departmental cooperation to guarantee our employees access to the full scope of activities a global player like RWE can offer (e.g. job shadowing / job rotation in other regions / continents and departments).

About the role

•    Provide fully-fledged commercial support for different kind of decision processes (investment approval, bid price setting, M&A projects, etc.) including stakeholder management
•    Support bidding strategies in various auctions (e.g CRE auctions) as part of the core bid team and lead analysis of commercial activities in cooperation with the local team
•    Support the structured origination team in commercial offtake discussions and recommend most appropriate route to market strategies
•    Leading the collection, preparation and analysis of all relevant commercial inputs for renewable energy business models in France
•    Supporting Strategy and Regulatory Affairs team to reflect current and future market and regulatory scenarios for long-term strategic planning
•    Supporting Europe wide market analyses and commercial evaluation of new technology solutions such as Battery Storage 
•    The Senior Commercial Analyst might take over the responsibility for certain commercial workstreams in cross-department projects
•    Ad-hoc market analysis reports (e.g. in case of significant market events)

Job requirements and experiences

•    Degree in an analytical / numerical subject, preferably Engineering, Finance, Statistics or Mathematics and appropriate professional working experience including market analysis
•    3+ years’ experience in the energy sector, including experience with commercialization of renewables and/or as power market analyst or similar
•    Entrepreneurial spirit: highly proactive, identifying value opportunities and proposing solutions to them under own initiative. Commercially minded with a willingness to always optimize commercial value of projects
•    A good understanding of market fundamentals in France: wholesale captured price, imbalance costs, capacity markets, etc.
•    Strong Excel knowledge i.e. should be able to use functionalities at an expert level. Implementing numerical models or data processing routines e.g. python, is a plus but not required
•    The ability to communicate clearly and in managing a good relationship with business partners and other external stakeholders as well as the ability to structure and present complex information adequately to a (senior) management-level audience (both written and verbal).

Advantageous, but not essential
•    Proven track record in project management 
•    Skills in VBA, R, Python, database handling or Tableau are a further
•    Any other European language
